As steam condenses, hot water (condensate) enters the trap body.
The rising condensate level causes the float to lift.
The float movement turns a rotary slide valve, opening the discharge port.
As the level drops, the float lowers, gradually closing the valve.
This action allows proportional, non-cyclic discharge, ideal for process equipment that requires steady heat transfer.
The trap also includes an air vent and immersion tube, enhancing condensate discharge during cold start-up and blocking live steam from escaping.
